Platter is CSO’s internal WhatsApp inbox at platter.cateringshoponline.co.za, also available to authorised staff as the Platter CSO iPhone and Android app. It is used by CSO staff to receive and reply to customer WhatsApp messages.
Authorised staff sign in to the Platter CSO iPhone and Android app with their Catering Shop Online email and password. The app stores a session token on the device so you stay signed in. Sign-in and inbox traffic goes to platter.cateringshoponline.co.za over HTTPS.

When you message CSO on WhatsApp, Platter stores:
Staff accounts (name, email, role) are stored so the inbox can be used securely. Payment card details are not collected by Platter.
Data is used only to provide customer service: answering product questions, quoting, order follow-up, and handing chats between sales staff. After-hours automated replies may use the message content to look up products on cateringshoponline.co.za.
CSO authorised staff and technical operators who maintain Platter. Messages are also processed by Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform to deliver the chat. We do not sell this data.
Conversations are kept while they are needed for sales and support, then removed on request or when no longer required.
To request deletion of your WhatsApp conversation history or staff account data, email sales@cateringshoponline.co.za from the number or email we have on file, or write to the address above. We will delete or anonymise the records we hold, except where we must keep them for legal or accounting reasons.
